Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund Releases Second Round of Election Endorsements
AUGUSTA, ME – Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund, which works to elect pro-environment and pro-democracy candidates to public office, released its second round of endorsements for the general election of the Maine Legislature on November 5, 2024.
Candidates were selected based on their answers to MCVAF’s candidate questionnaire focused on the environment, communities, climate, and democracy. MCVAF’s endorsement program seeks to help elect leaders who will address the climate crisis, advance a more equitable clean energy future, and protect our democracy.
Cathy Breen, Director of Government Affairs at Maine Conservation Voters Action Fund, said of the second round of endorsees: “We endorse candidates who have a commitment to protecting the environment, our climate future, and our democracy. A thriving environment and vibrant economy go hand-in-hand – and these endorsees will work tirelessly to address the climate crisis, create good paying clean energy jobs, and protect the air, land, and water that Mainers love.”
